FREĠNAN is delighted to be accepted onto the cityLabs programme (see http://www.citylabs.org.uk). The programme is based at the Open University in Milton Keynes, U.K. and grant funded by the European Union’s Regional Development Fund. It is a place for companies to work with academic and industry leaders to develop concepts into prototypes for new products and services in the digital economy.
This gives FREĠNAN access to some of the leading academics in artificial intelligence at the Open University to support our capability growth. It also gives us access to the MK Data Hub which supports the acquisition and management of vast amounts of data relevant to city systems from a variety of data sources – including data about energy and water consumption, transport data, data acquired through satellite technology, and other technological platforms.
At the heart of FREĠNAN’s capability is a data science based approach used to analysis the vast quantities of data that may impact the future performance of a company. By accessing and processing this data efficiently we believe FREĠNAN gains a distinctive advantage over more traditional investment analysis techniques.
